Hi. I'm a friend of Katie Zeliasz; I live in Iowa but lived in Chicago for 10 years, 2 of which my son was in daycare there. When I was searching, I used the Northside Parents Network as a resource. Access to their website is WELL worth the fee, which I think is something like $35 a year. They have childcare message boards, and posts from daycares and nannies with availabilties. My son ended up going to Magic Moments Family Childcare in Rogers Park for over a year. The owner is a nut (in an overly hovering, OCD kind of way) but once you get passed that, it's a great daycare. I don't remember their number but the owners name is Sandra Efrosinis. Hope that helps!
Hi Ashley! You dont know me. I am also a friend of Katie Z's. I was bored today clicking on links off of peoples blogs and came across yours. I read that you are making your own diapers. I think that is so awesome. I am very curious to learn more. Where did you find a pattern? I would love to try the same thing myself. We dont have kids yet but will in the future. I want to make stuff while I still have the time. If you could post any tips you have it would be great. Good luck getting them done! Melissa
